DeskDrop Guidelines

Everything you need to know about using the DeskDrop platform.

DeskDrop collects only the minimum personal data necessary to operate the platform effectively. We are committed to keeping your information secure and private.

  • Data collected includes: full name, employee ID, company email, desk/floor location, and order history.
  • Your personal data is never sold, shared, or disclosed to any external third party.
  • Order history and wallet transactions may be visible to your company's admin dashboard for internal audit and compliance purposes.
  • All data is encrypted and stored on secure servers.
  • DeskDrop complies with applicable data protection regulations in India including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

DeskDrop is an internal corporate food ordering platform available exclusively to employees of companies registered with the CAFE ecosystem.

  • Access is restricted to verified employees with a registered company email ID.
  • Each account is personal and non-transferable.
  • Users must provide accurate desk location and contact details for delivery.
  • DeskDrop reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that misuses the platform.
  • DeskDrop operates solely as a digital coordination layer and does not own or operate any food preparation facilities.

DeskDrop is a technology marketplace platform. It does not prepare, handle, package, or physically deliver food. All fulfilment is managed by registered internal vendors operating independently.

  • DeskDrop is not responsible for food quality, hygiene, or allergic reactions resulting from any order.
  • DeskDrop is not responsible for delivery delays caused by building access restrictions.
  • DeskDrop is not responsible for any financial loss arising from incorrect wallet top-up amounts.
  • Any dispute between a vendor and an employee must be resolved at the company facility level.

Refunds on DeskDrop are processed back to the user's CAFE Wallet only. No cash refunds, bank transfers, or UPI reversals are issued under any circumstances.

  • Orders cancelled within 2 minutes of placement (before vendor acceptance) are eligible for a full wallet refund.
  • Once a vendor accepts an order, cancellation and refund are not possible.
  • Wallet top-up amounts added by mistake by the user are non-refundable.

Vendors on DeskDrop are independent internal operators within registered corporate premises.

  • Vendors must maintain accurate menus, prices, and item availability at all times.
  • All accepted orders must be fulfilled promptly and correctly.
  • Vendors are solely responsible for food quality, hygiene, and proper packaging.

The CAFE Wallet is a prepaid digital balance used exclusively for placing food and beverage orders on the DeskDrop platform.

  • Wallet funds can be added via UPI or net banking, or credited by the employer as a food allowance.
  • Wallet balance is strictly non-withdrawable.
  • In case of account termination, unused wallet balance is non-refundable.
